When you have a goal

Do everything you can to reach your goal.
Eliminate any chance of having a backup goal/plan
Since it will only give you distraction
Instead having focus on your main goal,
you will continue thinking about the “what if it fails?”

Just set your goal high and live with it

I remember when Napoleon Bonaparte leads his troops into a battle
Suddenly he realized that they were outnumbered
There was a bridge right behind his troops and maybe lots of commander
order his man to flee from the battle by using the bridge right away.
Flee was never an option for him, instead of fleeing, he ordered his man
to burn down the bridge and hoping that his man will fight more brave
not just for their country but for their own life.
They fought the battle just to survive, since there was no backup plan.
The only plan is to win the battle and to survive.

And with those survival spirit, Napoleon and his troops became the victor of the battle.

~i know i’ve made some mistake in the past for thinking a lot about the contingency plan
and lost focus on my main objective but it will not happen for this year.

Final Project’s Progress

During my experiment and thesis development i have learned a lot about Stock Market and Foreign Exchange.

- Stochastic Oscillator
- Moving Average
- Money Flow Index (MFI)
- Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD)
- Fundamental Analysis has more impact rather than Technical Analysis

Whoaaa .. it’s 2011 Already

2010 was a great year .. lots of opportunities .. lots of challenge ..

these are my worst ‘thing’ happened in 2010.

1. My worst mistake was loosing 3000 USD in 30 minutes Forex Trading because not knowing the right information (stupid).
2. My worst decision was deciding to move on because of incomplete information, and currently
am regretting it a lot (i’m sorry dear).

My best ‘thing’ happened in 2010.

1. Got lots of lesson learned.
2. Business was getting good *Alhamdulillah* hopefully it will keep growing.

As for 2011,

I promise myself to graduate from Magister Teknologi Informasi (MTI), expanding business, and mostly everything related to HER.

nuff said.

Akhirnya Personal Finance Apps Lokal

Setelah sekian lama memerlukan dan pengen bikin sebuah aplikasi personal finance buat ngatur-ngatur keuangan akhirnya malah keduluan oleh salah satu teman gw. Sadly, itu aplikasi mempunyai desain yang bagus dan so far sih free

dan kayaknya gw mungkin agak kesulitan kalo misalkan harus compete dengan dia . Tapi dengan niat untuk membantu teman akhirnya gw mau bikin review tentang aplikasi ini.

First of all, i do like the layout and design .. hijau menurut gw identik dengan uang.

Kedua, gw suka namanya ngaturduit.com yep namanya simpel dan langsung ketauan fungsinya untuk apa.

Ketiga, bisa dipake secara mobile jadi kalo lagi makan-makan langsung bisa dicatet .. dan url nya tetep ngaturduit.com ga perlu embel-embel “m” di depannya seperti m.facebook.com.

Keempat, dari segi report yang gw liat di blog nya yaitu http://blog.ngaturduit.com/?p=62. Menarik karena ada grafik naik turunnya ^_^.

Oke, mungkin gitu aja reviewnya .. mudah-mudahan nanti gw bisa ‘kerja-sama’ dengan karena di otak gw sebenernya banyak ide tentang personal finance ini.

Apa Tujuan Hidup Loe?

Semalem gue ngobrol sama temen gue di kantor (kenapa teman? karena gue ga terlalu care term atasan dan bawahan apabila gw di kantor) karena gue harus nginep karena ada kerjaan dan badan terlalu untuk pulang ke rumah.

Dalam pembicaraan itu gue membahas tentang banyak hal tentang planning gue, tentang planning ametis, tentang planning temen gue dan sampai pada pertanyaan “Dhit, tujuan hidup loe apaan sih?”.

Gue cuma bisa jawab, “berguna buat orang lain“. Nah temen gue sedikit bingung dengan jawaban gue, lalu dia nanya lagi, “serius? loe bikin perusahaan ini cuma itu alasannya? apa loe ga pengen kaya atau mendapat sesuatu yang lebih?”.

Gue jawab seperti ini:

“Kalo urusan kaya, atau mendapat sesuatu yang lebih itu urusan belakangan dan menjadikan diri loe kaya itu pasti ga ada batasannya karena pasti yang namanya manusia itu ga pernah puas. Kalo gue sih hidup dengan kecukupan juga sudah cukup. Prinsip hidup gue adalah gimana caranya gue punya kontribusi atau bermanfaat buat orang lain. Karena selama loe punya kontribusi dan bermanfaat buat orang lain, someday loe pasti dapet hasilnya walaupun tidak instant tapi pasti suatu saat akan ada manfaatnya buat diri sendiri. Lagian kalo misalkan tujuan hidup loe itu hanya untuk mengejar materi atau jabatan/respect, apakah ada batasannya? apakah ada kata ‘cukup’ untuk hal tersebut? once loe sudah mencapai di satu titik maka loe akan selalu mencari sesuatu yang lebih dari tujuan awal. Terus kapan loe akan membuat diri loe berguna buat orang lain?”

Inti dari pembicaraan semalam adalah buat diri loe sendiri berguna buat orang lain maka suatu saat loe akan mendapatkan manfaat baik itu berbentuk kepercayaan maupun materi jadi jangan mengharap sesuatu hasil yang instant !
